If you are serious about writing a screenplay, give yourself two days to move it forward.

Led personally by Glen McCoy, this intensive two-day, face-to-face workshop takes you deep inside the Maverick Script Code and shows you how to put its 23 Moves to work on a screenplay of your own.

This is not two days spent sitting and listening to screenwriting theory. You will be thinking, creating, testing, developing and writing, using the Maverick Action Board as your practical route through the process.

Bring an idea, a screenplay you have already started (or finished), or simply the passion to write one. Over the two days, you will work through the Code, develop your story and players, identify weaknesses, explore possibilities and discover practical ways to keep your screenplay commercial and moving forward.

Places are deliberately planned for 12 writers, creating a small, focused working environment with plenty of opportunity for discussion, questions and individual attention. Your workshop package includes the Maverick Action Board, Writer’s Guide, Workbook and complete set of Maverick Cards, (value £123) so the system you use during the workshop is included and goes home with you.

Workshops run from 9.30am to 4.30pm on both days, with lunch and refreshments included.
