1-2-1 Mentoring for One-Month (On-Going Available on Request)

Writing a screenplay can be a lonely business. Sometimes the difference between another unfinished draft and a screenplay you are genuinely proud of is having the right person alongside you.

This personal four-week mentoring programme gives you direct access to Glen McCoy, drawing on more than 30 years of professional writing experience to help you develop your screenplay, overcome problems and make meaningful progress.

Your month begins with an in-depth 90-minute private video session. This is where Glen gets to know you, your project, what you want to achieve and where you may currently be struggling.

From that first conversation, you will agree a personal writing plan for the following four weeks, giving you clear objectives and a practical route forward.

You will then have three further 45-minute one-to-one video sessions during the month. These are designed to review your progress, discuss new pages and ideas, tackle difficulties as they arise and determine what you should concentrate on next.

Between sessions, you will also receive priority email access to Glen, so when a question arises or you need some direction, you do not necessarily have to wait until your next scheduled meeting.

Your mentoring is personalised because every writer, screenplay and ambition is different. The Maverick Script Code provides the proven route, while your sessions with Glen concentrate on applying it to your particular project. Whether you are developing an idea, working through your first draft, undertaking a major rewrite or preparing a screenplay you hope to present professionally, the focus is always on where you are now and what you need to do next.

Glen works with only six mentoring clients at any one time, allowing every writer and project the individual attention they deserve.
